Hey everyone. This blog is going
to be about Snapchat, and how you can use it to market for yourself or your
corporation. Snapchat is a mobile camera app on which people or brands can send
photos or videos called snaps to their friends and followers. When a snap is
opened it is only viewable for one to ten seconds depending. Snapchat has
created themselves to be one of the most popular social media demographics
among generations. There are many features that include younger generations,
such as face-swapping, color, text overlay and geofilters.
Today, Snapchat helps
businesses reach a unique audience, raise brand awareness, increase
consideration, and drive action. It is a great way to reach younger
generations, while maintaining that "cool factor." Ads on Snapchat
receive twice the visual attention than Facebook ads, since college and high
school students are sending snaps. In order to use Snapchat, it is important to
know how to use it properly. First create a username that fits its purpose. You
can send snaps in a few different ways. By either picture or video, also
through stories, which is a feature that allows twenty-four-hour access. A
snapchat photo should include a form of text to tease the brain to read it.
When color is added it creates a sense of comfortability and the opener is more
likely to respond. When sending a video, the shorter the better. Since the
national average attention span has shrunk in the recent years and the younger
generations, the shorter videos create more interactions amongst customers.
