Influencer Marketing with Social Media
Thankfully, we all know what influencers are,
which is the first concept you need to understand for this chapter. Influencers
can be celebrities to your parents or siblings. The power of an influencer can
persuade your decisions on how we feel about a product which prompted he term
Influencer Marketing. Influencer Marketing uses a popular influencer to promote
a brand message or products. Although due to the insane use of technology you
would think this is new, but that is contrary. This has been around for a very
long time dating all the way back to 1933. First used in a Dodge commercial,
where a supermodel and Olympic athlete were seen riding together in a Dodge
Salon "6".
What does it take to be a good influencer? That
question roams around in everyone's mind. To be a a good influencer you need to
have a very large reach. Being able to tap into large audiences is the social
key keeping you in business. Being credible and having authenticity are two
characteristics that will validate you as a good influencer. Actually being
involved in what you say you do gives trust to your audience. Being engaging is
another characteristic that will come to your benefit. A wise man once said,
"No one illustrates the concept of a great social media influencer more
than the king of snapchat, DJ Khalid"
